Instrument structure
The standard bank contains 109 original forced-choice questions. Ninety-three estimate four preference dimensions—energy, information, decisions and structure. Sixteen separate items estimate an Assertive–Turbulent identity style. The identity items do not change the four-letter type.
Prompts use work and everyday situations rather than asking people to endorse a type label directly. Each public question has two localized options; scoring keys remain server-side.

Deterministic scoring
Each valid answer contributes one count to one side of its assigned dimension. The server totals every dimension independently and converts the balance to a 0–100 score. The higher side supplies the corresponding letter; scores near the midpoint remain visibly balanced.
No language model infers or edits the result. The submitted type, score or result URL is ignored because the server reloads the private bank, validates all 109 expected IDs and calculates the result itself.

Random presentation without random scoring
Question order and left–right option placement are randomized once per session. A saved seed reproduces the same presentation after refresh. Answers are mapped back to the original option index before scoring, so presentation changes cannot alter the scoring key.

Scope and limitations
PersonalityNexa is an independent educational self-reflection tool. It is not a clinical diagnosis, an official MBTI® instrument or a validated predictor of job performance. Self-report answers can change with context, interpretation and recent experience.
A type is therefore a compact hypothesis. Dimension scores, uncertainty and lived examples should carry more weight than the four-letter summary alone.
